GUIDE2FR
Research Platform on Prevention, Security and Evacuation Services Indoors
Objectives and Scientific Work Packages
GUIDE2FR aims to be a platform for exploring the Robot swarm's usage in supporting Security, Prevention, and Emergency Services within spaces. Manual and automated techniques will be developed to use the most appropriate one for each final scenario. The key point is to have more information in realtime of the emergency – before, after, and during interventions - in structured and non-structured environments, with the problem that resides in the communication itself, the data use strategy, the signals, and the analysis of incorporating intermediate structures to support and confront the proposed scenarios. The Robot Swarm and BIM models are the scientific novelty to improve the anticipation and monitor risks in hostile indoor environments.
Based on the previous synthesis approach, the next modules have been chosen to develop the GUIDE2FR project: Robot Swarm, Dynamic Network Beacons, Interfaces for the ERP and ACP based on WebRTC and BIM, and Central Control Unit
